EVAGUARD® 500
EVAGUARD® 500 is a liquid preservative blend that protects cosmetic formulations from gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as yeast and mold.
The main active component of EVAGUARD® 500 is diazolidinyl urea, which provides complete protection against bacteria. The fungicidal effect of EVAGUARD® 500 is based on the classic synergistic combination of methyl paraben and propyl paraben. This unique combination provides broad‑spectrum protection without the need for additional preservatives.
EVAGUARD® 500 is stable and effective over a wide pH range from 3.5 to 8.0 and is compatible with cosmetic formulations based on non-ionic, cationic, and anionic surfactants.

Liquid preservative for cosmetics based on a composition of methylparaben and ethylparaben dissolved in propylene glycol. Preliminary dissolution of parabens in a liquid medium makes their inclusion in formulations faster and easier. The working pH range is 3–8. The recommended input level is 0.6–1.5%.
