EVAGUARD® 100
EVAGUARD® 100 is a liquid preservative for cosmetics based on phenoxyethanol, enhanced with the multifunctional ingredient ethylhexylglycerin. The addition of ethylhexylglycerin affects the interfacial tension on the cell membrane of microorganisms, improving the preservative activity of phenoxyethanol. This optimized combination provides a wide range of protection against bacteria, yeast and mold for a wide range of cosmetic formulations. EVAGUARD® 100 is a widely used and effective alternative in the preservation of cosmetics, which meets the needs of modern cosmetics in terms of safety, effectiveness and approval worldwide. Suitable for use in both washable and non-washable cosmetics.

It is a liquid mixed preservative with a wide spectrum of action, consisting of three parabens (methyl, propyl and ethyl parabens) in phenoxyethanol. The operating pH range is 3-8. The recommended input level is 0.4–1.2%
a mixture of broad-spectrum preservatives, in which the antimicrobial activity of benzyl alcohol is increased due to the effectiveness-enhancing booster of natural origin glyceryl laurate, which also has the properties of an emulsifier and emollient. EVAGUARD® 203 can be recommended for formulations of "eco-cosmetics", eye and oral care products with a pH level from 2 to 12.
