EVAGUARD® 100 is a liquid preservative for cosmetics based on phenoxyethanol, enhanced with the multifunctional ingredient ethylhexylglycerin. The addition of ethylhexylglycerin affects the interfacial tension on the cell membrane of microorganisms, improving the preservative activity of phenoxyethanol. This optimized combination provides a wide range of protection against bacteria, yeast and mold for a wide range of cosmetic formulations. EVAGUARD® 100 is a widely used and effective alternative in the preservation of cosmetics, which meets the needs of modern cosmetics in terms of safety, effectiveness and approval worldwide. The basic shampoo formulation is suitable as a basis for formulation development. A highly saturated composition consisting of three anionic surfactants gives the product a stable, soft foam. Thanks to the pearl concentrate EVAPEARL MS1, shampoo acquires pearly iridescences and an aesthetic appearance. EVAGUARD 100 is used as a preservative.
