EVAGUARD® 400
EVAGUARD® 400 is a mild preservative system with a wide spectrum of action based on food preservatives, which delicately affects the skin and is an effective alternative to parabens. It has a wide, balanced spectrum of action against bacteria, yeast and mold.
All ingredients are identical to natural ones, approved for use in natural and organic cosmetics in accordance with the main certification standards of Ecocert, Soil Association, BDIH, ICEA/AIAB, COSMOS, NaTrue.
EVAGUARD® 400 is designed for use in cosmetic formulations with a skin-friendly pH value from 3.0 to 5.5 max.

Basic Formulations
It is a mixed cosmetic preservative of a wide range based on identical natural substances. It can be used in natural formulations. The operating pH range is 2-6.5. The recommended input level is 0.3–1.0%
a mixture of broad-spectrum preservatives, in which the antimicrobial activity of benzyl alcohol is increased due to the effectiveness-enhancing booster of natural origin glyceryl laurate, which also has the properties of an emulsifier and emollient. EVAGUARD® 203 can be recommended for formulations of "eco-cosmetics", eye and oral care products with a pH level from 2 to 12.
A broad-spectrum liquid preservative based on nature-identical substances - benzyl alcohol, glycerin and organic acids. Can be used to preserve a wide range of rinse-off and leave-on cosmetic products with a slightly acidic pH of up to 5.5. The recommended input level is 0.6–1.2%.
