EVAGUARD® 201
EVAGUARD® 201 is a preservative system consisting of dehydroacetic acid dissolved in benzyl alcohol and water. This combination provides a wide range of action to protect cosmetics from microbiological contamination without the need for additional preservatives.
The components included in EVAGUARD® 201 are approved for use in natural and organic cosmetics in accordance with the basic certification standards of Ecocert Soil Associaton, BDIH, AIAB, Natrue.
With global approval for use in cosmetics, EVAGUARD® 201 can be used to preserve a wide range of cosmetic products with a slightly acidic pH from 2.0 to 6.5 max.

Basic Formulations
a mixture of broad-spectrum preservatives, in which the antimicrobial activity of benzyl alcohol is increased due to the effectiveness-enhancing booster of natural origin glyceryl laurate, which also has the properties of an emulsifier and emollient. EVAGUARD® 203 can be recommended for formulations of "eco-cosmetics", eye and oral care products with a pH level from 2 to 12.
a mild blended preservative with a wide spectrum of action based on food preservatives. It is suitable for use in various products, including natural formulations. The operating pH range is 3-5.5. Input level 0.5-1.5%
EVAPEARL® MS1 is a pearlescent concentrate in the form of a pearly white or creamy dispersion, based on glycol distearate. This ingredient is stabilized by anionic and nonionic surfactants, which ensures its high emulsifying properties and stability in the formulation. The recommended addition level is 1.0 - 6.0%.
